Ametek – Gemco has been serving the press industry for over 25 years.  Two locations in Michigan (Clawson and Peck) provide manufacturing facilities for their wide range of industrial control and safety products.  Employee's number 250 and sales for the corporation is in the billion-dollar range. 

The most recent addition to the corporation was in July 2000 with the addition of Patriot Sensors, which brings a wide variety of products including the Gemco Semelex II, Stop Time Monitor for machinery.  Used by OSHA it is the industry standard for measuring the stopping time of machinery, which is required in safety distance calculations for safeguarding devices. Other products include brake monitors, shunt height monitors and rotating cam limit switches.
